Ocotillo

Ocotillo, linocut print, 2024, 14.5”x 10.5”, edition of 50 (open).

Three hours Southeast of my home is a magical place, Anza-Borrego. Ocotillo grows there. It resembles a space spider, with its wavy stems stretching toward the sky. Only once a year does it turn green and bloom with flowers as scarlet as flames. What a delight to find Ocotillo in bloom!

You can find Ocotillo print in my shop.
