Fayette Street, Backyards of Baltimore Series

Fayette Street, Backyards of Baltimore Series, 2018, linocut print, 13.5”x 12”, edition of 30 (open).

The city with the boarded-up windows slowly sinks into an eternal sleep. In the middle of the plaza, I see a dog. The dog is howling at the stars because it doesn’t want to disappear with the city. It’s a truthful story. I need to take the tools and linoleum, inks, and the glass baren to make a print on paper where the dog and the city will continue to exist.
